What is PSSSP?

The Post-Secondary Student Support Program (PSSSP) provides financial assistance to Listuguj Mi'gmaq students who have been accepted into eligible College or University programs that offer:
  • University & College Entrance Preparation
  • Certificate or Diploma
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Graduate Degree or Professional Degree
  • Doctorate Degree

Listuguj Mi'gmaq members interested in post-secondary financial support must complete a funding application. Applications can be found here, or you can contact Christie Caplin-Isaac, PS Manager at

Deadline to submit completed applications:

June 30                   Fall Enrolment (September - December)

November 15        Winter Enrolment (January - April)
March 31               Spring/Summer Enrolment (May - August)

We partner with a variety of post-secondary institutions to provide our Mi'gmaq students with a more accessible education. Courses are taught in the community with Mi'gmaq knowledge and learning styles that better fit the needs of the community. .
